Ise Foundation
was founded in 1983 as a nonprofit organization with generous
endowment from Ise America, Inc., Seaboard Firms, Inc. and Seaboard
Foods, Inc. The mission of Ise Foundation is to support contemporary
art and artists providing their exhibition opportunity at the
Ise Foundation Gallery in New York.
Ise Foundation invites a member of the public to propose an exhibition
plan for Special Event 2003.

Brief and clear
summary of the project within 500 words. Please elaborate
on the exhibition concept and theme and how the artists
were selected. |
2) |
5-6 Slides from each
participating artist; relating to the proposed project and
labeled with name, title and date of work, medium, size,
and an arrow indicating top. |
3) |
Resumes and statements
of curator and each artist |
4) |
A separate list
with
a) exhibition title,
b) all artists' names,
c) name, address, and phone number of person submitting
proposal |
5) |
SASE Please enclose
a self-addressed envelope with correct postage. Otherwise,
the material will not returned to the applicants. |

Invitation cards
will be printed by Ise Foundation. |
If any portion
of the artist's displayed art work is sold during the exhibition,
the Ise Foundation shall receive 30% of the purchase price of
the art work for our future program operation.

Ise Foundation
is unable to support expenses for shipping and transportation.
Applicants must acknowledge that their property, together with
any and all installations incidental to said property, are not
insured by Ise Foundation. Applicants must agree to waive and
hold harmless the foregoing entities, and all their employees,
successors assigns, of all responsibilities, for the entire period
of time during which the property remains 555 Broadway Building,
and during transportation to, from and inside 555 Broadway Building
and Ise Foundation.
