Foundation |
The Ise Cultural
Foundation was founded in 1983 by the endowments from three of
Ise Group Inc. , which were Ise America, Seaboard Foods and Seaboard
Farm in the United States. The organization had started their
cultural activities and it was officially approved as a non-profit
cultural organization by the United States IRS (Internal Revenue
Service) in 1984.
<Mission>
In the generation of globalization, cross-national and regional
activities have been splendid in the field of arts. The Ise Cultural
Foundation has supported artist and scholars, who dedicated to
their work. The organization has promoted the exchange of art
and culture, mainly visual art, between the nations for its objective
that enhances the devotion to development of Japanese esthetics
and culture as well as deepens mutual understandings of culture
in terms of demographically and ethnographically diverse society.
